Hazal Aysel

My name is Hazal Aysel, I am originally French-Turkish but have spent the most significant portion of my life in the United States. I have had the chance to call New York my home for the last five years, finishing a dual degree program at Parsons School of Design. I have graduated in May with honors from both of my degrees enlisted as BFA Communication Design & BA Politics and Global Studies.

For as long as I can remember I have had a great affinity and admiration for marketing and advertising. From creating fabric made of kombucha to designing a sustainable skincare brand, to speculative design projects on bio-hacking, my experience in college has been nothing short from being marginal and eclectic. Parsons gave me the tools to develop my creativity and analytical skills, always pushing the boundaries of the impossible, and uniting my studies in marketing with my passion for disruptive trends and branding. As my university days have come to an end in May, I am continuing my journey filled with perpetual lust and curiosity.
